N.Y. man kidnapped, sexually assaulted person multiple times, cops say

A New York has been charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting another adult on multiple occasions, authorities said.
Miguel A. Chimbo-Orellana, 37, of Queens, was arrested Oct. 21 following an investigation into the reported acts, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.
He is charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, witness tampering, criminal restraint, terroristic threats and contempt of court.
The person reported being kidnapped and sexually assaulted multiple times in both the city of Englewood and in Queens, officials said. The victim also alleged that Chimbo-Orellana threatened to kill them, prosecutors said.
Chimbo-Orellana was in Englewood Oct. 21 when he was apprehended by detectives.
He is now in custody at Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance.
